As the title says, everyone who uses a computer should know - or make an effort to learn - how to edit photos. I’m not talking about being a Photoshop guru here, I’m just talking about the simple stuff: Cropping, red-eye removal, editing the level’s, etc. Why? Because the simple knowledge of how to do this can turn some of the worst images into good ones.
Let’s take demon boy here:
He can be anyones son. If he was your son would you want him having those demon eyes? No. So lets go into iPhoto and apply a red-eye filter. Here’s the result:
It’s not perfect, but at least he doesn’t look like the devils son. So please, learn how to use a photo editing software. Nothing fancy, just something to get the job done. If you’re on Mac OS X use iPhoto as it has all of your simple needs. If you’re on Windows go with either Picasa or Photoshop Elements.
